Birchcliff Helps Raise $1.8 Million at the 2026 Gordie Howe CARES Pro-Am

Birchcliff Energy was proud to participate in the 2026 Gordie Howe CARES Pro-Am. The Pro-Am is a unique weekend hockey event where teams are paired with NHL alumni from across North America, giving participants the opportunity to play alongside hockey greats while raising funds for the Gordie Howe CARES Centre for Alzheimer’s Research and Education Society.

This year, the event raised more than $1.8 million for the Gordie Howe CARES Centre, advancing critical research, education, and support for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Birchcliff’s participation reflects our commitment to investing in the long-term well-being of the communities where we live and work.

As the 2026 Luncheon Sponsor, Birchcliff was also honored to support a featured “Hot Stove” discussion moderated by Scott Oake, with NHL legends Chris Chelios, Mike Vernon, and Mark Howe. This engaging conversation highlighted the enduring impact of the game and its ability to unite communities around important causes.

We are grateful to be part of an event that reflects the spirit of teamwork, generosity, and leadership both on and off the ice. We also extend our thanks to NHL alumnus Aaron Ward for joining Team Birchcliff for the weekend.
